How to Repire a Bad Laptop Battery

"A few days ago, I bought this its got bluetooth,centrino duo,web cam,finger print reader also bad laptop battery that would hold a charge very long. If i purchase the compaq laptop battery deal today what can i do with this thing? I've tried selling the laptop battery before but no luck."
This is a friend asked, actully, there are only a few method to solve this problem,
1. Get a new laptop battery
2. Get a USB kb/mouse and notebook stand and use it as a desktop
3. Contact Lenovo and see if it's part of this laptop battery issue.
